Formula & Calculation Method
Gravel calculations use the following formulas:
- Volume (cubic feet): Length × Width × (Depth / 12)
- Volume (cubic yards): Volume (cubic feet) / 27
- Weight (tons): Volume (cubic yards) × 1.5

- Length and Width are in feet
- Depth is in inches (converted to feet by dividing by 12)
- 1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet
