About This Calculator
The Crypto Portfolio Tracker helps you monitor and analyze your cryptocurrency investments in one place. Add your crypto holdings, track their current value, and see your overall profit or loss at a glance.
This tool automatically calculates portfolio totals, individual asset values, and provides visual insights through charts. Your portfolio data is saved locally for easy access.
Formula & Calculation Method
Portfolio Calculations:
Asset Value = Quantity × Current Price
Total Portfolio Value = Σ(Asset Values)
Total Cost = Σ(Quantity × Average Buy Price)
Total P/L = Total Portfolio Value - Total Cost
Total P/L % = (Total P/L / Total Cost) × 100
Each asset's profit/loss is calculated individually, and the portfolio totals are the sum of all holdings. The calculator tracks both absolute profit/loss amounts and percentage returns.
How to Use This Calculator
- Add Assets: Select a cryptocurrency, enter quantity, and average buy price, then click "Add Asset".
- View Portfolio: See your total portfolio value, total cost, and overall profit/loss in the overview section.
- Monitor Assets: Each asset shows its current value and individual profit/loss.
- Visualize: View portfolio allocation through the pie chart showing distribution of assets.
- Manage: Remove assets by clicking the trash icon when needed.

How is profit/loss calculated?
Profit/Loss for each asset = (Current Price × Quantity) - (Average Buy Price × Quantity). Total P/L is the sum of all assets.
